Julián Cerati is an Argentine actor known for his role in O11ce as Felipe Aragón.
Biography[]
Julián Cerati always wanted to be an actor, or at least he realized very young that he wanted to dedicate himself to that profession. With the goal fixed in his head, he tired of inventing excuses to leave before school, or missing if necessary, to appear at any type of casting in the Federal Capital.
Thus, he arrived at his first paid commercial, for which he went to Chile and participated in something more like a short film than an advertisement, according to Cerati. On that occasion was directed by nothing more and nothing less than Dustin Lance Black, winner of the Oscar, thanks to his screenplay in Milk (2008). "We have social networks, hopefully we will work together again," said the young man.
"Once I did an optional theater workshop in Tercer Milenio, the elementary school that I attended in City Bell. When I was 13 or 14 years old I started to do it more seriously and I took classes. Years later, I ventured into advertising. That was my self-taught way of looking for acting."-he said in an interview.
When he was a kid, he left school and went to Buenos Aires, so he always found excuses to escape. He went to the tests and was ready in ten minutes: it's always a little picture in profile and nothing else. After that he hit the back to La Plata. "I always wanted to fight for what I liked. In this way it went from being just a hobby to my life."-he said.
In an interview, he ws asked how he got to Disney. His answer was: "There were castings that nobody wanted to do, but my friends passed the data to me and I showed up at all. One day I was notified of a test where actors and soccer players were needed, and since it is a sport that I have practiced since I was very young, the two streaks came together." On the filming platforms, he gets along very well with the other actors. Most of them just started on television and that generates a lot of euphoria.
